PrintPersonally, if there's going to be one "toughest game" in a series, I prefer to have it first and just like the first series of the year that's how it will be as the A's draw Felix Hernandez to open the series. Hideki Matsui has the night off and Conor Jackson gets the call over Ryan Sweeney even against a RHP.
Though their play has been as mediocre as their 9-9 record, the A's come in just 2 games behind Texas and 3 back of the hot-starting Angels. All this will be irrelevant if the A's can't get hot at some point, rattle off a few wins and distance themselves from the .500 mark...So how about starting now?

You need two inputs, usually.
And unfortunately, with both games on cable, and only one input from my cable box… I don’t think this is possible with my current setup.
I might need one of those digital converter boxes or something to bypass the cable box and go into the coax in.

I’d recommend it. We split the cubano sandwich, beef empanadas and plantains with this tangy garlic sauce. all delicious. they don’t have the full menu at dinner yet, so I’m gonna go back to try some of the other stuff they have for lunch. only one table/two chairs inside, but 4 more on the little patio outside. It’s like a cuban gregoire’s. take out style.

Honestly, I remain a somewhat quiet Alex Smith homer. Given the time invested I pray he figures out whatever at some point. I realize the odds of that happening are somewhere between slim and none, but I guess I’m just a sucker. It’s part of the reason I made it a requirement in the recent NN Draft Bust list that the players no longer be on the 49ers….just so I didn’t have to include Smith!
