Greetings fellow A’s Fans!
I am the poster formerly known as prince(milo).
My documentary, “Boys of Summer” (which some of you may remember via previous postings), is now available online for free! It’s part of my thesis studies down here at UNLV. I’m studying the effect of online marketing upon the distribution of an independent film (this one, specifically).
For those who aren’t familiar, “Boys of Summer” is an award-winning documentary following my father (who has Parkinson’s Disease) and I as we attempt to road trip 20,000 miles in two months to see a game at each of the 30 Major League Baseball parks on less than a shoestring budget. It has gotten kind and warm remarks from some of the longtime stalwarts here, including Nico, Baseballgirl and Blez.
I’d very much appreciate your thoughts, comments and, if you enjoy the film, your passing it along via email and social networking sites. You may see the film at: www.bosmovie.com. My dad and I are blogging and vlogging, so if you have specific questions, be sure to let us know. Our goal is to get one million views by the end of the 2011 MLB season.
Though the film is absolutely free to watch, we are accepting donations directly to the Michael J Fox Foundation via our Team Fox page.
Thank you and...Let’s Go Oak-land!
