Well, it's the WhizKid's and WhizDad's last day at Spring Training. Hopefully we'll get to see Barton today and WhizKid REALLY wants Gio's autograph...we haven't even seen him yet. And, hopefully, we'll see Matsui crush one.
Looks like we get to see the starting lineup today! Wahoo.
Yesterday's poll results were striking! Of the approximate 143 votes, an overwhelming 83% of you said LaRoche should be our backup IF - mostly because of his bat. (Though Nico made a strong argument otherwise!) As a marketing guy, I can tell you that, with 143 votes, this poll was scientifically accurate with a 99% margin of error.
But the thread revealed some other interesting ideas so, for today's poll, I'd like to run some options by you for the roster...do we go with four OFs and carry an extra IF to keep the bat that some of you so desperately wanted or do we go with five OFs and one IF (one with either an offensive or defensive advantage). I'll even give you some trick options. Please vote!
