We haven't had a dump in DAYS. This is getting ridiculous. It's February, people! There's actual baseball "news" to discuss!
Lineup card for today's intrasquad game, via Slusser on Twitter (apparently she is healthy enough to be at the park, hooray!):
Also from our trusty reporter SuSlu: some news about Cliffy.
Cliff Pennington is now hitting from both sides of the plate. He's still not expected to play in the first week of games or so.
And in ex-A's news, Tejada met Royce Clayton, who plays him in the Moneyball movie. (WARNING: Includes a photo of Miggy in a Giants uniform.)
Clayton got some lines in the film, which created another issue. He was born in Burbank, Tejada in the Dominican Republic. Those accents are not similar.
Clayton said he attempted a Dominican accent, but not for long.
"I gave it a whirl, but they told me to lose it after a while," he said.
