Cliff Pennington is now hitting from both sides of the plate. He's still not expected to play in the first week of games or so.

And in ex-A's news, Tejada met Royce Clayton, who plays him in the Moneyball movie. (WARNING: Includes a photo of Miggy in a Giants uniform.)

Clayton got some lines in the film, which created another issue. He was born in Burbank, Tejada in the Dominican Republic. Those accents are not similar.

Clayton said he attempted a Dominican accent, but not for long.

"I gave it a whirl, but they told me to lose it after a while," he said.
