Hey! I get to vote for someone who'll get more than 1 vote!
Sogard

Vote for Sogard
without re-pasting my argument from the other thread, Sogard deserves your vote because he is 7 months younger, is MLB ready now (whereas Donaldson needs to cut down on that K rate and get his avg/obp back up, half a season or so should do it) and doesn’t have injury concerns really.

5 1/2 months younger, not that it matters much.
I don’t think Sogard is any more MLB ready than Donaldson at this point, and catchers are more valuable than second basemen. I’m going Donaldson here. I think he can be a decent ML catcher, though I suspect it won’t be with the A’s.

I stay with Sogard
Even if I get less confident in putting him over Donaldson. I would have been ok if Donaldson had made it since he was up by 6 votes late yesterday.
Sogard All The Way!
He hit .429 in the majors last year with a .556 obp!
Uh...but it was 9 PAs.

And Donaldson only .156
Duh, what a no-brainer
I can't even believe its been this close. .429 is almost 300 better than .156!
What you fail to understand in your joyless myopia is that baseball is the key to life-- the Rosetta Stone, if you will. If you just understood baseball better all your other questions your, your... the, uh... the aliens, the conspiracies they would all, in their way be answered by the baseball gods.
I voted for Donaldson because clearly he's "due"

Shouldn't his forthcoming maternity leave lower his ranking some?

I picked Donaldson
Donaldson’s bat was almost as good as Sogard’s last year in Sacramento even with his flukily low BABIP. I’ll take Donaldson’s ability to play catcher and likely superior bat over Sogard please.

Thank you
Sogards absence of power may work alright in the minors but major league pitchers are going to eat him alive if he can’t do any damage. His defense may be passable but he has no versatility at the moment, making all those comments about his future as a utility player false.
Donaldson has a good chance to stick at catcher and at least be competent with the bat. When picking moldy fruit I usually take the one with less brown spots so Donaldson’s my guy.

Since when?
Middle infielders don’t need to have power to be passable. In fact, I think his ability to draw walks without any power to back it up is a skill that will translate well. If pitchers aren’t scared of his power now, they won’t be scared of his power in the MLB, but he’ll still be able to identify borderline balls and draw walks from them.

I'm saying
I think he’s going to slug much lower than the .407 he put up this year and that consequently his OBP will fall as well. Of course much of this is my opinion which is really what the poll is about.
I just think the probability of Donaldson being at least an average major league catcher is greater than the probability of Sogard being at least an average major league second baseman.

Catchers don't even have to be able to hit

Power is highly correlated with walk rate, but they're not 100% codependent
Guys like Chone Figgins and Luis Castillo have maintained excellent walk rates despite almost zero power, and Daric Barton has one of the best walk rates in the majors despite power that is probably weaker than average.

Eric Chavez has been less healthy than average

PT probably means "weaker than average" for all players, not just 1B.

Right
It’s clearly near-bottom for 1B. I think he can eventually bring it to average-ish among baseball players at large.
Either way, his walk rate is way above what you’d expect based on his power level.

I voted Sogard
I like his bat a bit more (I know Donaldson did have a low BABIP this year— substantially lower than his career— but that’s not an unalloyedly good thing) and I think he’ll be right around the 10 runs better defensively that he needs to be to overcome the positional advantage if Donaldson remains a catcher.
It’s quite close. Closer than I gave it credit for being when I drew up an early draft list in November.

I think that
if Sogard was in another org., and that GM called Billy and offered to trade him straight up for Ynoa, it would be a memorably comic incident that Billy would relate to his grandchildren before a warm fire.
