Around SBN: 7 Important Questions About The Heat Vs. Celtics Series

AN Hottie Poll - vote for #6

There is a very important question that needs to be answered in this off-season: Now that Travis and Chavvy are gone, who is AN's favorite hottie on the team? We must research this.

To find the answer, we're running this set of polls. Vote for the player you think is most good-looking. Or if your favorite is not listed, vote "write-in" and name him in the comments. Anyone on the A's 40-man roster is eligible. All AN members are welcome to vote, regardless of gender or sexual preference. Straight guys, it's OK to judge how good-looking men are, so don't be shy. Go ahead and vote. It won't make you gay, I promise.

Brainz R hawt. Craig Breslow narrowly beats out Kurt Suzuki the #5 spot. Who gets your vote for #6?

Star-divide

Yeah, I know. It's been a while. I was busy in real life. So sue me.

Mark Ellis and Joey Devine are new candidates this round. I hope the Joey picture work OK. In the last post it was appearing only inconsistently, probably due to traffic limitations on the home site. I know I can copy the image and upload it elsewhere, but I don't like to do that without permission, and my email requesting permission didn't get answered.

As always, if there's another player you'd like to see on the list next time, write a comment saying "I nominate [so-and-so]". If the hottie you like already has a nomination comment, recommend the comment. Try to avoid nominating too promiscuously. A good rule of thumb would be to nominate if he's the guy you would vote for in this round or next. If there are still two guys currently listed whom you would pick before him, then be patient and nominate him a little later.

Posting new pictures or "scouting reports" in the comments is always welcome. When providing pictures I prefer if you can point me to the original source, so that if I use them in a later poll I can credit them properly.

I'm still voting write-in for Chris Carter.

But my next choice would be DeHotness.

You’re sort-of right. I maintain an interest the A’s regardless of hotness. I can’t put my finger on it, exactly, but there’s something I really like about the A’s, so from time to time I watch the team. I participated in a few gameday threads last season, and had a pretty good time.

Some have them, some don't.

If I have something, I put it in. But I don’t believe in making up content just for the sake of filling space.

I got into the habit of alt-tagging back with my first epic DLD. The one with the bridges and queens. I think the ultimate inspiration is xkcd.

I voted for Barton

but I must say the pic of Kurt Suzuki doesn’t do him any justice. Here is a link to picture of him and his wife.

I do think the new Coco Crisp picture is better as well.

Easy vote. I love that dude, always. He was my little brother’s favorite player.
