This is the list of callups who will join the A's in Kansas City: Chris Carter, Eric Sogard, Vin Mazzaro and Josh Donaldson. That's according to two Sacramento sources, and the names certainly make sense. Carter and Mazzaro were very good possibilities to rejoin the team after Sacramento's season ended, Sogard has been Sacramento's most consistent player much of the season, and Donaldson gives the A's a third catcher, plus like Carter and Mazzaro, he was up earlier this year.

The big name missing: Travis Buck.

 

Oh, and we also signed Akinori Iwamura, who will join the team today in KC.

Today's lineup:  Crisp CF, Barton 1B, Suzuki C, Cust DH, Ellis 2B, Hermida LF, Iwamura 3B, Davis LF, Pennington SS, Cramer P
