Yeah they probably did.

That is a very important thing to do. He will probably be up again later this year, hopefully with more success.

For Buck it is time to produce or he will be looking for another team next season. And I like that the A’s will get a long look at Jackson over these next six weeks or so. The A’s need to make some serious decisions about their outfield with Sweeney, Davis, Crisp, Jackson, Cust, Carter, Buck and Taylor. That eight players for 4 spots (The three outfield spots and DH). So, the A’s need to figure what they are going to do.

I like Carter, I saw him play at Stockton a bunch and saw him with River Cats. I think it was a great learning experience to be with the big team, hopefully he knows what to correct to become a major league hitter after his experience. He is a nice guy. Hopefully, he will provide the power the A’s need for 2011.
