Dontrelle Willis

I have to say that its sad to see a player born in our town go through what he has gone through. At the very least I'm glad he got one big pay day which should last him and his family the rest of his life.

Always loved his attitude, his smile, his hustle (how many other pitchers have hit 5 triples in their career?), and his unique style. Other people in the game seemed to think the same way.

I'm not quite sure what went wrong, but I'm sure it's not easy having a meteoric rise.

My heart would love him to join us as a free agent next year, but my head says he's done. I really hope he makes it back somewhere, but I suspect not.

Wishing you all the best D-Train.
