Been off for a few days but let's check to see how some of our youth are doing. Rather than look at each game individually, we'll look at a few guys that are playing well as well as some of our usual suspects. (which is one of my favorite movies)

Sacramento went 4-1 the first week of July. 

Sogard 2B: 6-19, R, 2 2B, 4 RBI, SB  .299 avg on season

Carter 1B: 6-18, 4 R, 2 2B, 2 HR, 4 RBI,   .239/.839 OPS

Taylor RF: 5-18, 2 R, 2B, 5 RBI .251  (Batting .316 over his last 10 games with 12 RBI, but still no power.)

Tolleson SS: 6-16, 3B, RBI, 2 SB .328  (Batting .351 over his last 10 with 2 HR) 

Bonser: 3 ip, 2 H, 2 R, 3 BB, 2 K

Middleton: 7 ip, 6 H, ER, BB, 4 K  (Has a .88 era over his last 10 games which includes 5 games started)

Banwart: Not fooling anyone yet. 8 ER in 3.1 ip last start

Midland: 3-2

Horton SS: 5-14, 2 R, HR, 6 RBI, 3 BB  .286 avg 

Cardenas 3B: 5-16, 2 R, HR, 4 RBI, 4 BB  .400  (starting to show some power???? Has 2 HR and 3 2B in his last 10)

Brown CF: 7-18, 3 R, RBI, .333

Sulentic OF: 6-15, R, 2 RBI  .239  (Has really stalled this year. Still just 22)

Capra: 6.1 ip, 5 H, 2 ER, 3 BB, 7 K

Hernandez: 6.1 IP, 6 H, 2 ER, 2 BB, 2 K  (now 8-1 on the season. A's have received pretty good value from Carlos since he was drafted in the 35th Rnd in 2006 out of Santa Clara.

Stockton: 2-3

Green SS: 7-16, 2B, 2 RBI .320 avg  

Parker 3B: 6-21, 3 R, 2 2B, HR, 3 RBI, 2 BB  .298 avg. 

Spina 1B: 9-21, 6 R, 2B, 2 HR, 3 RBI,  .269 avg  (batting .381 over the last 10)

Ortiz C: 1-13, 2 R, RBI

Kane County: 3-2

House CF: 6-17, 6 R, 2 2B, HR, 2 RBI

Aliotti 1B: 7-18, 2 R, 2B, HR, 3 RBI, SB  .268 avg

Dixon OF: 5-19, 3 R, 2B, 2 RBI  .267 avg  (batting .300 over the last 10 games) 

Stassi C: 4-17, 2 R, 2B, HR, 2 RBI,  .248 avg

Richard OF:  8-20, 4 R, 2B, 2 RBI, 2 BB  (batting .385 over is last 10. Has really had a nice June and now the start of July)

Marks: 6 IP, 5 H, 2 ER, BB, 9 K

Krol: 6 IP, 5 H, R, 5 K  1.83 ERA on the season. Does anyone have a scouting report on this guy? 

Vancouver: 1-4

Kirby-Jones 1B: 4-11, 3 R, RBI, 8 BB  .279

Thompson 3B: 6-18, RBI  .224
