Game 4 of the Gauntlet, A's and White Sox at the Cell

Stay connected for news and updates

Glass half empty? Glass half full?

The half empty view, the A's are 8.5 games back and they sunk behind the Angels last night. The Rangers seem pretty intent on running away with the West. Oh, and apparently you have to score a few runs to win every now and then.

The half full view, the Mariners once came storming back from 10 back in August to take the crown. And Craig Breslow is awesome.

There is not much else to say. The A's need to win today and tomorrow to have a .500 swing through two first place teams. Normally, this would be awesome. Now, anything less is a sign that Carter and Taylor might be ready to learn at the big league level.

GAME ON!
