Report: Kurt Suzuki receives 4-year contract extension

According to Casey Pratt of Comcast SportsNet California, Oakland Athletics catcher Kurt Suzuki has received a four-year contract extension from the team. The deal runs through 2013 with a club option for 2014.

If I was a kid there is no doubt in my mind that Suzuki would be my favorite player and even as an adult I’ll admit I’m getting attached to him. I hope he stays for a long time.
