Hello from Oklahoma,

I've never been a humongous MLB fan, but in the late 80's the Oakland A's caught my attention. I was instantly hooked with the Bash Brothers, Rickey Henderson, and Dennis Eckersley. I still consider them the greatest team of all time, despite all the steroid rumors that have surfaced over the past decade. Any way, life happened and I stopped following the A's (and MLB in general).

Now, I have this urge to reconnect with the team, but it seems that there isn't many national televised games. I got to see Cahill pitch against Kansas last weekend, but that is the only game I've seen so far.

So my questions are 1. who are the stars of this team, 2. who do you hate on this team, and 3. how do you like the season so far?

In my limited viewing, I've grown fond of Barton, Suzuki, and Kouzmanoff. Overall Cahill pitched a decent game. I've also started to hate Crisp. I feel the A's would be better off with a different center fielder.

I know the A's aren't ripping up the standings, but since I've been following them again they are 5-1. I can't complain about that.
