Sweeney actually threw a runner out at first on a sure base hit to right field, after Gio loaded the bases with three straight singles in the sixth. The A's lead 3-0, after adding two runs on a Mark Ellis double.

Not a line one sees in a play by play very often. It doesn’t happen to Bengie Molina, who is even slower, because he isn’t a wimpy hitter with no power to right field like Redmond.
