PrintIt's been a wild one already, as Coco Crisp was handed second base as the umpires collectively reversed a foul ball call. Shockingly, he would score. But the Royals tied it up on a DP, the A's untied it on an error, and Gio wiggled out of trouble with help from his own fielding. And it's only the third inning! 2-1 A's.

But then again, I spent a lot summers in PA, where it’s humid for real, later in my life, when I would have been more likely to notice humidity. Maybe it just didn’t seem humid by comparison, and maybe I missed the muggiest summers. But I was home for a lot of summers, too, and I was home for parts of almost every summer. Never seemed that muggy, but maybe I was just spacing.
