Should Ellison buy the A's?

As a lifelong Eastbay sportsfan (A's/Raiders/Warriors) I was pretty disappointed today that Larry Ellison was not able to buy the Warriors franchise despite the rumors that he had the highest bid. Then I got to thinking, if Wolff's ambitions of moving the team to San Jose never materialize, it would be great if he sold the team out of frustration (like Hoffman) to another ownership group...perhaps Larry Ellison?

I know its just wishful thinking, but if there was any major league sport in which Ellison would be able to flex his influence and financial muscle, it would be Major League Baseball. He would have the finances to build the new ballpark in JLS (where he wouldn't need a public vote) and would truly be able to build, or buy, a winner.

The Oracle Coliseum...Cahill, Bailey, Gio, Suzuki & others actually staying with us..ownership dedicated to winning, and smashing the competition...that would win the fans over...oh well one can dream
