I was so mad when I saw Rex in a Yankees shirt on SNY the other day.
As a Jets fan I have to laugh it off, but it was tough.
What you fail to understand in your joyless myopia is that baseball is the key to life-- the Rosetta Stone, if you will. If you just understood baseball better all your other questions your, your... the, uh... the aliens, the conspiracies they would all, in their way be answered by the baseball gods.
Nice pics btw.

Thanks for sharing your pics!
Bad font usage on the scoreboard makes me sad.

What's wrong with the font?
"You see, in this world there's two kinds of people, my friend: Those with loaded guns and those who dig. You dig."
san sarif makes it hard to read
The Giants scoreboard is unreadable. There is not an aspect of it I don’t have a complaint about.

The scoreboard was much easier to read in person
Shrinking the picture makes the scoreboard harder to read. For a better view, try this.
BEER IS GOOD. BEER IS GOOD. BEER IS GOOD, AND STUFF.
My main problem with it is that they're scaling the font disproportionately.
On the Nick Swisher pic you can see the font at it’s correct dimensions. On the Brett Gardner pic they’ve scaled the width down (but not the height) and it looks horrible.

Also IT'S NICK SWISHER IN A FUCKING YANKEE UNIFORM.
Wrong. So wrong.
SIG SPACE AVAILABLE FOR SPONSORSHIP. INQUIRE WITHIN.
Old Yankee Stadium was steeep.
It made for great sight lines, and a touch of vertigo. Looks like they reduced the upper deck slope a bit.
Thanks for the pics, and esp the snark!

I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent view of the field from the upper troposhere

Can't rec this enough!
All that hooey about Yankee fans being better baseball fans than those of other teams is just flat-out crap.
It's the fans that make the game fun. -- Rickey Henderson, July 26, 2009.
Thanks
One so-called “fan” was more interested in taking pictures of his friends than watching the game – the result of which was he kept sitting way forward in his seat, with his enormous cranium directly between me and home plate.

I’m a bit unclear on the translation :)
Great pictures, Dr. K, and always good to see you and your family out having baseball fun.
Thanks for sharing.
I have a set of “film” photos of Yankee Stadium from a tour I took in 2002. Yankees out of town.
You were brave to wear your A’s gear. Bravo!
Blez: Most folks seem to believe that the big flaw with the 2010 Oakland A's will be the lack of any power.
Beane: They believe it because it's true.

Cool pictures, BUT
One of my biggest pet peeves is when people go to a game wearing a team’s apparel when that team is not playing in that stadium. I know you’re an A’s fan, but it was a Yankees – Indians game!
Appreciate the snark tho!
So what's he supposed to do, wear Yankees or Indians stuff or nothing team-related at all?

is there something wrong with wearing nothing team-related at all?
BK: This guy is on fire, he is really smokin'.
KenKo: Oh yeah, Bill? What's he smokin'?
I wouldn't have gone as overboard as doctorK did, with the A's shirt and hat.
I’d have probably worn the hat though. I see no problem with it.

I have no issue with a baseball fan taking in a game in his team's gear
Regardless of whether his team is playing or not. In a way, if they’re not a fan of either team, it’s kind of nice to know.
Ask me about my squirrel.
no kidding,
I saw a cheese head at a Raider/Broncos game.
Nice pics Dr. K, thanks for sharing.

the only time this bugs me
is when i go to the coliseum and see people in red sox gear
like tonight i saw a guy wearing a beckett t-shirt even though we’re playing the angels
red sox fans annoy the hell out of me namely because 90% are cerca 2004

Well that's the difference between simply hating the fan as opposed to where he is specifically.
Ask me about my squirrel.
Apparently, so do I

I would have been wearing scrubs
because at any Yanqui’s game I am rooting for injuries.

Asked if he'd even thrown a no-hitter before at any level, Braden said, "In Little League, I had a couple under my belt. And in the bullpen, I'm damn near perfect every day."

Are you serious?
All the effed up things people do and that’s one of your pet peeves?
Root for the Giants? Not even if they're playing al-Qaeda!
Great shots
Yankee Stadium AND a Rex Ryan sighting? Awesome.
"Don't look back. Something might be gaining on you." - Satchel Paige
Thanks
Ryan was shown on the big screen during the game (I heard both cheers and boos for him). As we were leaving, I stopped to take another picture, and noticed this guy with a pass hanging from his neck with ‘Rex Ryan’ on it, so I waited until he walked by before taking his picture. The funny thing was, here is the head coach of an NFL team just walking away from the ballpark after a game like an ordinary Joe – and even though he was clearly labeled (and I assume very recognizable in NY), nobody even seemed to notice.

eh, just gotta be cool
act like you see him all the time….
…after all, he rents your summer house when Brett Favre doesn’t.

I like that you rocked the Green and Gold at their house
Nicely done!
