So Rajai seems to be getting better numbers back; his at bats seem better, more patient (though not always), and more ground balls, which at least gives him a chance to get on base. Given we know he has a super work ethic, it wouldn't surprise me if he's put in extra time. Personally I think some of the early season fault was the A's management; they seem to push the myth that he was the second coming of Ricky, bought Ricky back to help him stealing, when what they should of been concentrating on was batting.
I'm not sure we'l see an average above 300 again, but I think we're going to get something like .270 Avg, .330 OBP, 50 SB and generally causing havoc on the bases, with above average defense.
I also feel that he's somewhat of a catalyst to the team in that others seem to feed off him (in that way he reminds me of Eckstein when he was at the Angels); personally I'm not so keen on him ceding leadoff to CoCo when he arrives; I feel that Rajai might just offer more there.
Interested in other people's feelings. I for one think he has what it takes to be at least a part of the starting line up, and given great attitude and hard work ethic, it's hard to want anything else for him.
