In the minors, Jack Cust is batting .273 with 4 homers and 19 RBI in 110 AB
In the minors, Josh Donaldson batted .269 with 4 homers and 19 RBI in 67 AB.

No, he was nibbling at the corners like usual. The difference is that the A's actually bit, unlike every other team this year against Saunders....resulting in tons of weak contact.
Pretty hard to tell if his control was on as well, since the A’s are swinging 0-0 and 1-0.
Strike 3 lookings aren’t horrible if overall, the A’s get into more hitter’s counts. Your Jake Fox approach to hitting is laughable is just going to lead to more games like tonight’s.
