I used to go to a bar to do Karaoke every Wednesday

and every Wednesday, without fail, this elderly gentleman would grab the mic and start singing a song where the chorus consisted of “I got my mojo workin,” sung about, oh, 40 bazillion times. It was great. His other go to song: Rainy Day Women #12 and 35 by Bob Dylan (the Everybody must get stoned) song.

Make the cut out bigger at First Base. A lot of base stealers go to the edge of the grass, and are just able to get back. Extend it a bit, and they’d use that mechanism and get picked off, while you tell your own runners to go right before it.

Good Win

Great to see Donaldson get the bomb and Gio pitched very well.

Thank God we won.

Over the last 7 games before today we were had the worst pitching in all of baseball being 30th with an ERA of 6.84.

Unfortunately yes I have

A car wreck and a few minor collisions with locomotives and freight cars being sandwiched together.

All I will say about the minor train collision where 30 tons of malt barley spilled was it was Christmas Eve and we spent 5 hours in the bar before coming back to finish our shift. I blamed it on kids switching a switch which was true. The only problem with that was I was the one responsible for checking the switches.

Ironic that we were drunk and the spillage was malt barley going to the brewery to make beer.

That was many, many years ago.
