USF Politics Professor Rob Elias, author of Baseball and the American Dream: Race, Class, Gender, & the National Pastime, will be reading from his new book The Empire Strikes Out: How Baseball Sold U.S. Foreign Policy & Promoted the American Way Abroad at a few Bay Area locations.
