Open Thread: Spring Training Game 2 A's vs. Brewers

AN's Fantasy Baseball: Enter now for a chance to compete!

Oh boy, oh boy oh BOY! I haven't had a game thread in way too long! Today, Ben Sheets and the A's take on the Brewers, as the A's try to best their hit total from yesterday (hint: that shouldn't be too hard). Sheets should know the Brewers; he spent his whole career up to this point with them.

Here's the Gameday Link

And here are your lineups:

Brewers

Weeks, 2B
Gomez, C, CF
Braun, LF
Edmonds, RF
Zaun, DH
Kottaras, G, C
Escobar, A, SS
Heether, 3B
Wilson, S, 1B

Your 2010 Oakland Athletics!

Davis, LF
Ellis, 2B
Suzuki, C
Kouzmanoff, 3B
Chavez, 1B !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cust, DH
Buck, RF
Rosales, SS
Patterson, CF

Stay tuned after the game for an AN Exclusive Interview with Ken Pries, the VP of broadcasting and communications.

Let's go Oak-land!

not exactly a confidence builder...

this is straight from the KTRB auto-response email i received after complaining to them about ditching lurie:

We have the Radio Shack model in our studio, which is located in the interior of a buildiing in the city where our signal is not optimum. We have found a “sweet spot” where the reception is clear. If we move the radio up or down, or left or right, even slightly, we lose the station, but it is clear in that one spot. You might also find this kind of solution.

My favorite is the fish & chips place. Molly’s always got some sort of Californian/Korean hybrid special, and she’s an A’s fan.
