I know it's only one appearance, but I'm so happy that Justin Duchscherer is back on the mound, and as an Oakland Athletic. Four strong innings is a very good sign that things might be turning around for him.

Depression is a bitch. If you've never suffered from it, you have no idea how it can take over a person's life. I've always liked Duke, but after all he's been through the last 1+ years, he's probably my no. 1 player to root for this year.

I was at the game today in AZ and he looked sharp.

He actually had to complete his appointed # of pitches in the bullpen b/c they finished the inning before he had finished his allotted pitches. Fun thing about games in AZ during ST all kinds of people get to play in the games. Usually see 15+ players during the course of the game. If I go to a Rivercats game at all this season – I’ll know who the players are!
