My Spring Training Trip - 16-19th
Just left Phoenix wearing shorts and arrived in Chicago to snow! Oh to be back! A's lost the first game to the Giants, and of course beat the D-backs the next day. I had pretty good seats for the D-backs, and wanted to share some pics. Not sure if I'm doing this correctly, so, hopefully it works out. I also included a link to a gallery -
One of my favorites is a shot of Eric Patterson as he rips one down the line with the bases juiced. Nice!
Here's the link to the gallery - just not sure how to embed the photos

Cool stuff
Good spot to watch a game from, and I figure you see the pros and cons of that fixed angle. ;-)

I'm a fan of that angle.

thanks
wish I knew how to include the pics in the fanpost, but I suppose this does the trick (though doesn’t do much for commenting)

cool thanks for sharing
I went down to AZ the last three years… didn’t make it this year. So it was cool to see your pics!
Yea thanks Cat
Great pics, Rickie still sports the cool shades. Was this your first ST and did it live up to the hype? I hope to be able to make it someday.

hey Catfish,
these are great! Were they at the A’s facility, the early ones versus the D’Backs?

wow - excellent!
I particularly enjoyed watching them as a slideshow. That’s probably better than trying to embed the photos in this fanpost, anyway.
Great stuff
though I couldn’t at first figure out who Gio Reynolds is.

It's so cool to see Rickey back in the A's dugout

How did we miss each other this year???
I must have been standing right next to you! I have the same shots of Zook warming up Gio in the pen!
Bailey is ROY!
I think you both were right beside of me then!!!
Section 326 is in the house!!!
so the game against the DBacks, was that at home?

Nice pics, thnx for sharing.
I was there last weekend for the Cubs and Reds. I was a little disappointed in the trip as a whole as I didn’t make the game in Tuscon because the line at Alamo was so damn long. In any event, if anyone went, I’m curious to know what that stadium was like?
And I was also a little disappointed that I didn’t see a lot of Taylor, Carter, et al.. they were playing in the ss game and only had 1 ab the 2nd game. Also sat in the shade this time, which was nice.
dood, I've come to the conclusion that you're just a dumb*ss.
bummer
sry about missing the game – I never went to Tucson…but wanted to. Taylor played a lot while I was there, Carter not at all if I remember correctly (but I didn’t meet him / get his autograph) – would’ve liked to see him play.
go to the minor league camp next time – right around the corner from Phoenix Muni; left at the light, towards the red rocks …
