PrintTrevor Cahill and the A's will take on the Rockies today, as we creep closer to the start of the season. Cahill is still making his bid to be a permanent fixture in the A's starting rotation, and the A's have put together this lineup behind him:

I thought, in spring training, a team, had to play at least 4 of it's projected
starters in a game? Pennington, and Barton, are the only 2.
I don't think that is a rule
and if Crisp is hurt Gross or Fox could be starting (in theory), same with Rosales (if he beats Cliffy P for the SS job).

Cahill’s biggest problems in the majors were K’s and BB’s. No BBs is nice but no Ks means he probably isn’t throwing the curve (or throwing it well). And without the Ks, Cahill can’t be that good no matter how many GBs he gets.
