PrintHey AN, it was five years ago that my then business partner (and best friend) Markos announced the arrival of my daughter Maya on AN. Thanks to the wonders of technology (wifi in the hospital room) I'm going to go ahead and announce the arrival of my son Alexander today, February 4, 2010 at 2:29 a.m. I'm still in a bit of a haze given that I've slept a total of about an hour and a half over the past 48 hours, but he's a beautiful little boy with a ton of hair and weighed in at 8 pounds, 10 ounces and was 19 inches long. Both baby and Mom are doing very well (and sleeping heavily right now).
So I'm already acting as his agent in preparation of him being drafted by the green and gold to play third base starting in 2030. You can never start negotiating too early. I just have to make sure that the Rangers don't sneak in and take him one pick before the A's...

Don’t let him waste any of his sports time playing pussy sports like cross country running or soccer. Football, baseball or basketball, find a fit and ride it hard. No BS snowboarding garbage either, Alex. You want the best looking girls, don’t you? Yes, you do. Third base.
