Taveras, Crisp and Davis - Could the A's steal 200 this year?

It seems within reach and an absolute requirement for a team with minimal power.

We're struggling to score runs and this may be a way to keep us in a lot of games. I know last year, Raj Davis was quite disruptive to opposing pithcers and some base stealing help from Adam Kennedy was instumental in some victories.

It won't be Ricky all over again, but it could be a huge boost.

Just a thought!

it think 60 for davis, and 40 for Crisp is doable over a full season.....

career highs for both?!

assuming they are both healthy all season and play pretty much full time, those totals are still overly-optimistic.

But really, i think 100 bags is a long shot for both Raj and Crisp. Raj can probably snag half that number. Crisp, depends on his health I would think (guessing 40 tops). Add another 40-50 from the infield perhaps.

Crisp is only going to steal 20ish, at best.

Raj will get 40. The rest will combine for 20ish. I’m guessing we are in the mid/high 80’s in steals.

well I'm guessing Crisp steals 10-15,

so add in that extra little bit I didn’t account for with Pennington, and I still say high 80’s/90’s at best. Raj could surprise me, but this hasn’t been any kind of running in team in a long time, it’d surprise me if Raj got 50.
