Where to buy A's gear in the Bay Area??
Hey AN! My friend is going to be a first time A's season ticket holder this year and I would like to buy him a starter kit of A's gear - sweatshirt, t-shirts, authentic cap. Question is .. where can I go to buy them now?? I normally buy my stuff from the Coliseum during the season but it's all Raiders stuff right now. Is there a store in the Bay Area (preferably in Contra Costa County) that has a good selection of A's merchandise??

Yeah, it's not easy in the offseason unless you're buying online
I hope someone in CoCo has some ideas other than the obvious Target (selection is not great, but they usually have something) and whatever that store is in the shopping malls that sells caps. You might want to go to one of the places where Oaklandish stuff is sold and get the “STAY” shirt and Oakland tree cap, and let him get the authentic stuff at the ballpark.

The Sunvalley mall in concord has a mom and pop store that has some great vintage A's gear
Forgetting the name of the place…..They have a couple of sports outlet stores with a few a’s things, sadly more Giants stuff than A’s stuff if you go to most sports outlet stores. I was at Big 5 in Novato the other day and was shocked at the A’s gear in stock they have over there, including Suzuki and Anderson game jerseys. Good luck!
thanks for suggestions!
I checked out Sports Authority in Concord but they had a very small selection of A’s stuff.
If anybody has suggestions anywhere else in the Bay Area, that is fine too. I know there’s not much in CoCo County.

If you want it cheap
I am in SoCal but when I travel up to the Bay Area, I grab cheap gear at Walmart or Penneys. Penneys usually has a $10 off $50 coupon in their Sunday ads.
Lot’s of good deals online as well. I receive offers from a’s.com at least once a week. – 25% off, free shipping, $20 off $100…
Sports Chalet in Pleasanton
I’ve had some good luck here in the past. Haven’t been there since the season is over so I don’t know what the selection looks like atm.
Champs Sports
usually has player T-shirts.

Not im the south bay
Thats for sure.the malls in SJ are all Giants with the A’s stuff in the back corner like they are ashamed of it.plus not much selection, how many Sweeney player shirts does someone need.Best bet is online.Specially during christmas time alot of places offer discounts and free shipping.

Contact the A's
Hello all. The A’s, through Aramark, currently have a merchandise mailer available. It can be requested by emailing merchandisedepartment@oaklandathletics.com or mailing a letter to A’s Merchandise Department, 7000 Coliseum Way, Oakland, CA 94621.
Many fans call the A’s and describe what it is they are looking for. We then ship it to them.
We realize this info is a little late for potential needs for Saturday, but hopefully it is of help in the future. Happy HolidA’s!
what a shame
I live in LA and I wanted to take my 1 year old son to his first ball game at the Coliseum (did NOT want his first baseball experience in Dodgers or Angels Stadium!). Anyways, I wanted to buy some A’s gear for him and for my wife. It was TERRIBLE!!!! No sports store (Sports Chalet, Champs) had any A’s stuff worth buying, and definitely nothing for kids. I was lucky to find some nice baby gear at Babies R Us. I heard you can get gear cheap at Marshall’s, but I wanted nicer quality for my son (not a CHEAP dad).
It just depressed me more about the A’s situation in Oakland. Seriously, who is responsible for such poor marketing of our team. In LA, I can go anywhere and by any type of jersey (men’s baby’s women’s) for the Angels or Dodgers in any store.
I used to go that store at Pier 39 for A’s gear but there was NONE to be found. Giants hadn’t even lucked their way into the World Series yet. Imagine what it must be like now.
