Choice above Carter?
It’s all fine and good to talk about tools… but it seems like these lists always tend to favor players in the lower minors.
Right now, I’ll take Carter over Choice without even thinking about it.
I said this on minorleagueball and I'll say this here.
There is zero reason that Michael Choice should be ranked above Gio Gonzalez and Daric Barton on the list. And Barton at #8 is utterly ridiculous.
The fact is that both those guys are already above-average MLB regulars, and most prospects don’t ever do that.
above average MLB regulars shouldn't appear on prospect lists.

Yeah, that was absurd and laughable.
Gio Gonzalez, an well-above average starting pitcher in the majors, isn’t as good as a guy fresh out of college? And how is Daric Barton worse than Jemile Weeks?
Yeah I really can't top an organizational top 10 list seriously
That altogether omits Stephen Parker.
There is a legitimate case to be made for him being in the top 3, and yet no mention here.
Weak.
