The Athletics claim Edwin Encarnacion on waivers from the Toronto Blue Jays
He hit 21 HRs in Toronto, which would have led the Athletics in 2010 and batted .244/.305/.482. This might be the end of Kevin Kouzmanoff in an A's uniform. As MLBtraderumors.com puts it:
"It appears that Kouzmanoff’s days in Oakland are numbered, especially since he and Encarnacion couldn't platoon (both handle lefties better than righties)."
