Jerry Crasnick is one of my faves, and he says we want  Berkman. Im all up for this. Sure he is a shell of his former self, but i definitely believe that he can provide some pop and OBP that is worthwhile. I'd definitely rather take him over Matsui anyway. He'd be  a good supplementary bat to someone else we can acquire through a trade....

Matt Kemp everybody.  Despite my Illusions of Grandeur last night with Braun, whose ESPNrumor central item has since been debunked,  Kemp makes sense in many ways.  He is probably most definitely available, and wouldnt take a king's ransom from us.  ESPN mentions him as a possible target for the A's, in their aforementioned Rumor Central column, but doesnt really provide any hard intel on the matter.  But we can piece this one together on our own as being a possibility.

I feel like I need an annotated bibliography to please some of this site's followers when i do a post. Not naming any names but some people cant do their own rudimentary research, or at worst just take something very benign at face value, without their panties in a bunch. Most  People Love 78% of my stuff so I'll post again. ;).
