PrintWelcome to Arlington, where the Rangers vow things will be different now. Considering that Texas is now 0-11 at San Francisco, committed 4 errors in Game 1 and issued more walks than a Bed Bath & Beyond in Beijing, things could hardly be worse.
Jonathan Sanchez, fresh off two really lousy starts that followed two stellar ones, takes his unique brand of electric inconsistency to the hill against "I sucked. I went to Japan. Now I'm great!" Colby Lewis.
The DH is also here, giving Vlad Guerrero and Pablo Sandoval something to do. Make no mistake: The Rangers need to win this game. Or sign Dave Roberts but quick.

I can sympathize with Wash's wanting to leave Feliz for the ninth inning
so that the Giants get fewer looks and can get blown away more often in a close game that the Rangers are leading.
It’s of course risky. But at some point you have to give some vote of confidence in someone else in the pen.
