Last night I went to San Francisco to participate in a non-baseball-related activity (healthy to do that once in a while).

Both on BART and in the Mission I actually counted more people sporting A's gear than Giants' gear. (I also had my A's cap on.)

Early this morning in the Grand Lake Farmers' Market, vendors and shoppers wearing A's gear outnumbered those wearing Giants' gear - as it should be of course, since this is Oakland. There was, however, one fool selling veggies in Giants gear who sported a dyed black beard.

Finally, at Arizmendi's Bakery the person who attended me complimented me on wearing an A's cap "even though the Giants' are trying to take over." ...to which I replied, "Hey, I'm no Bandwagoner."

Little things, I know, but I thought it might make some of you smile this morning.
