Someone is going to win their first ever World Series title. And that's how it should be, in my opinion. The Phillies have had their day and the Yankees purchase every day that ends in "y" -- it's nice to see new teams win the division, win the pennant, win the World Series, and in 2010 it isn't going to be "same old same old." And regardless of how you feel about the A's cross-bay rivals or about their division rivals, it's just flat out good for baseball to have new teams in the mix.
Will the Rangers throw Cliff Lee in games 1, 4, and 7? I'm betting they will. The Giants, thanks to Brian McCann, will have home field advantage. Should be interesting, as the Western divisions rule in 2010. Who'da thunk it?
