Open Thread: Rosterbation

With the Sheets signing, and the rumors of more A's moves (looking at Johnny Damon, watching Noah Lowry), its time for another thread for us to figure out what the hell the A's 25 man roster will look like come April (or May, if you want to go that far). So throw your rosters out there!

Key Question: Do you think the A's should go with a 5 man bench and a 6 man bullpen, or a 4 man bench with a 7 man bullpen as they have traditionally gone?

Players to consider when making your roster are:

Catcher:
Kurt Suzuki
Landon Powell
Josh Donaldson X

First Base:
Daric Barton
Chris Carter
Eric Chavez
Jake Fox

Second Base:
Mark Ellis
Adrian Cardenas X

Third Base:
Kevin Kouzmanoff
Eric Chavez
Jake Fox
Dallas McPherson X

Short Stop:
Cliff Pennington

Outfield:
Coco Crisp
Ryan Sweeney
Rajai Davis O
Travis Buck
Michael Taylor X

Designated Hitter:
Jack Cust O

Utility:
Aaron Miles
Gregorio Petit
Eric Patterson O

Starting Pitchers:
Ben Sheets
Justin Duchscherer
Brett Anderson
Dallas Braden
Trevor Cahill
Vince Mazzaro
Gio Gonzalez
Dana Eveland O
Clay Mortensen

Relief Pitchers:
Andrew Bailey
Joey Devine
Mike Wuertz
Brad Ziegler
Craig Breslow
Brad Kilby
Jerry Blevins
Henry Rodriguez
Bobby Cassevah R
Sam Demel X
Jon Meloan

Key: O = Out of Options, R = Rule 5 Draft, X = Not on 40 Man Roster

Feel free to create your rosters, make hypothetical signings and hypothetical trades, just remember that they must make sense, must make the team better, and if you do make a trade, safer to go with a trade that leans towards the other side in talent/value (remember: no one wants our garbage for their goodies).

And yes, the prospect list should resume soon.
