Is the honeymoon over already!?!?
Being a poor college student (again) I am the only person on Earth that can't afford to have their own internet access. I've missed AN terribly. It's my only lifeline in wonderful South Western Missouri. I have to use the school computer lab when I have the time.....and wouldn't you know, today is the day I have time!! It has been months since my last confession.
I'm sitting here, reviewing my itenerary for my third Spring Training trip. I'm always excited. There's nothing better then Spring Training baseball. There really are no words to describe it.
Anyway, to my point. I have just realized that this is the first year in a long time that I don't have an A's crush. It feels weird. It feels empty. Yes, I love the A's and I love baseball for more then the cute young guys in tight pants. Is it a perk? Definately! I had Barry Zito and Tim Hudson, then Nick Swisher came into my life. (I was never the same after that.) Then Swish was ripped from my life, but then the Baseball Gods gave me Tommy Everidge for one season. Now he has been taken away from me too. I am sad. I am lost. I guess this is why they always say to marry someone who has conversational skills because looks fade. Is my honeymoon with the A's over? After 20+ years of love and devotion, have the looks finally faded? Will this be the season I find out what true love is? Do these all sound like tag lines for a really bad reality dating show on VH1? Yes, they do......
Here's to 2011 and the hopes that Spring Training gives all baseball fans.

Well, as established, I don't think Grant Desme is into boys
or at least, he’d never admit to it
I suspect that you think tilting at windmills means something other than what it does.
"As established"
He has strong views on the topic, but it’s not at all clear to me exactly what that establishes. I could see it going either way.

Republican Senators for $400 anyone?
Maybe in 1896.
Nowadays, it costs a lot more than $400 to buy a Senator.

I think the $400 comment
was a Jeopardy reference

If you're into chubby ballplayers, the A's are pretty much the place to go.

Brett Anderson wont have the career of Tommy Everidge
But he isn’t too shabby.

Crushes on A's players is so last decade. And risky at that.
A’s bloggers are all the rage now.
I'm here to talk about the past.
You could always guest blog here.

Oh, by all means, please crush on me!
Here are the benefits:
1. I won’t be traded anytime soon.
2. Never gone down with injury (Knock on wood, not Tiger nor Kerry)
3. I get better looking with age (or it might be macular degeneration, I’m not sure)

Maybe you will grow to love the new 3rd baseman
Kouzmanoff has hair (or lack thereof) like Hudson’s. I’m surprised you aren’t in love with Ryan Sweeney.
You have to include smiley faces - Poppy
;- ) :- ) :-O : -> : -] : -}
Ryan Sweeny is too pretty.....
It’s like a male Ricky Martin. I just can’t get in to it……although, Sheets has some hope.

See, maybe that's your problem.
You know Sheets is going to be around for a year, yet you are already starting to gravitate toward him.

Who you callin' pretty?

Doesn't this belong as a comment in the "Case for Johnny Damon" thread?"
Cuz him being handsome is a better reason than him being affordable.
