I Need Three New Best Friends......For This !!!
|
"You're invited to a special event at the Oakland Coliseum following the A's game on Saturday, October 3rd, This exclusive season ticket holder occassion will provide you the opportunity to meet A's players, wiin prizes and more". I can have up to three guests. My friends are casual baseball fans at best, so I do not want to waste this on them. I'm not sure of an equitable way to select my three new best friends, but I'll come up with something. |

Where’s your irreparable injury, huh? HUH?

Screw it, counselor....
are you suggesting I should withdraw the offer for fear of litigation?

Actually, it's TWO new best friends
It says each account is good for “three persons maximum”. Meaning, account holder + 2 guests.
I made the same mistake at first, until I read closer and saw the highest number for your “total party” that you can select is 3.

Well, maybe I'll just
stay home and let my new best friends go :)

I also got that email message
if my season ticket buddy can’t go I will also have an extra ticket to the event (I wont’ have an extra ticket to the game itself)
by OaklandSi on Sep 4, 2009 4:26 PM PDT reply actions 0 recs
So Why not all of us season ticket holders pool our extra tickets
and bring as many folks along as we can ? Maybe there are ticket holders who do not want ot go and will give uptheir tickets to this event?
So far, I have 2 and Oakland SI may have one.
Anyone else?

I have some too - but will not be able to go. If anyone wants them- I'm glad to oblige.
How do I get them again? I think I deleted the email.

you have to rsvp them and tell them whether you want 1, 2 or 3 tickets
of course, it helps to go to the game too, which starts at 1 pm. The event will be after the game ends.
You might be able to call the season ticket phone and rsvp that way, if you can’t find your email message.

I rsvp'd to bring 1 other person
so if anyone’s interested, let me know and you can get in free with me.

Yuu had to click onthe link to respond by 9/18. I would just call the
season ticket holder’s office and rspy with them or ask them to re-send the link to you.
(510) 638-0500. This is generous of you.

I read that as "New Beatles" for a moment
and I thought….
1) okay, will I be playing the autoharp or the shamisen, or both?
2) only two more weeks until I can get an eye exam covered by insurance, Can’t wait!

I’d love to go but I’m not much better than a casual baseball fan. I watch 90% of A’s games on TV but I’m not a stat geek and have only watched a handful of games at the coliseum this season (Including last nights’ awesome win! :D).
