We haven't had one in a while
Scott Hairston might not be back this year. This could hurt them in the later rounds.
Prepare for more Brett Fav-ruh love on ESPN.
Ouch.

Athletics vs Mariners coverage
I vote this for most incredible jersey customization, even if it is an Angels one:
(wiki, if needed) (more photos)
I tried to add a poll, but this computer is being weird. What famous writer would you have on the back of your jersey?

Philip K Dick
Would have to put the whole name on though…….

That's a fun one to work with
for instance, you could see his name as such: Dick, Phillip K.

Kurt Vonnegut
but I’d put “Kilgore Trout” on the back.

Kindly forgive the repost from EM's prior DLD -- this is time-sensitive:
1. I have two tix for Friday night’s game: 126/22/14 and 15.
2. Friends are coming to town who do want to see the DogMa and me Friday night, and who don’t want to see the A’s.
3. I have promised the Friday team pic giveaway to ZigFan.
4. I would like to work a deal to exchange with somebody for two Saturday afternoon tix, just about anywhere in the Coliseum. You know you’d rather watch the Cal game (despite the obvious fac … never mind).
5. You hafta promise to take care of Zigfan’s odd hankering for the team photo. Maybe.
Pls reply here or contact me by the email in my Profile. Thanks!

LOL
I had a heart attack when I read #1, breathed a sigh of relief when I got to #3, and a chuckle when I got to #5.
And yes, said trader is required to honor the deal. :-)

I really want to go see a game. I missed the XFL since I was a poor college boy at the time.
The SF team was originally supposed to be SJ and it would have been neat because I was going to SJSU and that’s the field they would have used.

It’d be nice to have someone to root for in the AL division.

slicker
if only they had the ABA logos too though (or had them as readily found). i think that’s where i spent the most time on logoshak, in the ABA department. old-fashioned styles and forgotten team names makes the whole thing look hypothetical, like those design school assignments where they re-do popular book covers in “a style.” so familiar, so far away.

don't care if i ever get back.

Nabokov for me.
I’d pick a number that isn’t between 9 and 14, though, because I don’t want to make a sick joke of it.
