Free pair of tickets to Tonight's A's game (September 18)

I've got a pair of tickets to tonights Indians vs. A's game that I can not use and I'm going to give them away for free.  Tonights game is the Indians Vs. A's and there are fireworks after the game.  The tickets are in section 116 three rows behind home plate.

So what do you have to do to get the tickets?   Post to this thread why you should get the tickets before 12:00 p.m. PT, the best reason (as determined by me) gets the tickets.

I will make the decision by 1:00 p.m. PT and post the winner to this thread.  I will put the tickets in will call  or email the tickets to the winner.

All decisions are final and at my whim.

Start you posting.

I believe

I should pick up your tickets because otherwise they’d be wasted if you’re not using them ;). I’ll be there tonight regardless though. Go Oakland!

I think you should help...

this NRAF out! I have travelled long and far to see my beloved A’s and sadly I do not have tickets for tonight’s game. I would love to see them up close and personal since I don’t get to see them play in Oakland that often!

AND...

I’ll fit better in 2 seats than 4 people.

Oh the best reason

I just had my second daughter 4 weeks ago, so ive been held up in my house for the last month playing Mr. Mom. It would be awesome to take the new girl, and her big sister to the game with mom. Were kinda broke so if the tickets were given to us, I think I could convice my better half to head out to the ballpark.

Wow, tough choice.

Since we are talking about tickets, has anyone used stubhub.com to buy tickets before? I found some decently priced tickets for a lower section.

I don’t need the free tickets since I think these others deserve it, just asking.

What are they asking?

$29 each for section 122

but it is row #30 which is the second to last row. I can get sec 119, row 27 for $35 each or sec 115, row 12 for $40.

stubhub charges a %10 few all total ticket price + a $4.95 print at home fee. I could get better deals if I need less than 4 tix, but I need 4 in a row so it is limited.

it is still better than buying tickets directly from the A’s site, they charge a $5.25 processing PER TICKET + a $2.50 print at home fee.

That seems like pretty much face value.

the tickets would be $35 at the ticket window

I would just buy tickets at the gate but the 4 of us are showing up at seperate times and I might be late.

I bought the section 122 row 30 tix

I could justify paying $50 more for 17 rows closer. or $30 more for 3 rows closer.
