Coastal Shoreline Cleanup (Community Service) & Chez Nico: Actual Sign-Ups!

This is just a follow-up to my recent post, except this time I'm asking for folks to let me know "who's in" for each of the two upcoming September events extravaganzas.

Coastal Shoreline Cleanup: Saturday, September 19th, 9:00am-12:00pm. (Event Info Here)

   Meeting Spot (9:00am):
Behind the Seabreeze Market, at the end of University Ave. in Berkeley (University at Frontage Rd., near the entrance to 80).

I hope we can get a sizable group together for this and maybe go to the A's-Indians 1:05pm game afterwards to celebrate our environmental goodness.

If you are planning/hoping to participate, please comment in this thread and I will get an approximate "head count" this way. Reservations are not required, so I don't need an unwavering commitment -- but it would be nice to know if we have a large group, a small group, or just me and Cindi, planning to come. Oh, and come. No pressure or anything, but come.

Chez Nico II: Tuesday, September 29th, 6:00pm-Last Pitch

Meeting Spot (6:00pm): Chez Nico -- duh. We will BBQ dead animals, dead greens, and dead soy at 6:00pm, and then watch the A's at Seattle (7:10pm first pitch).

If you are planning to attend this dead-animalapalooza, please email me privately (nico@lmi.net) to let me know and I'll send a confirmation reply (and pass along my Berkeley address if you don't already have it). And bring chocolate martinis. We can never have too many.

And if you don't live in the Bay Area, well...sorry for wasting your time reading this post. You can still mail chocolate martinis, though. {call me}

thanks

I’ll sign up for the local equivalent here in SF.

Off topic:

There’s an A’s / Redsox game on CSN from the Classic MLB series from 1996. What makes this game a classic? Outside of seeing McGwire play and hearing Greg Papa call the game, i can’t tell why it’s being featured. Anyone know?

Signing up for both

And Ill send you an email.

There are differing opinions on me. According to Iglew "DFA is PT with a sense of humor. PT is DFA with introspective self-doubt. I like them both" but according to sirbed Im "The Stats Killer"

In for something.

Don’t know what yet.

I think I am already going to the 9/19 game, so put me down as a tentative for the community thingy.

As for Chez Nico II, I will e-mail you.

I'm here to talk about the past.

I'm already planning on doing the coastal clean-up

But I’ll be bringing 1 to 3 people and I don’t know if we’ll all be going to the game after or not.

Sadly I can't make it...

Do the martinis keep in the mail?
