AN Trading Post 8/5/09 - A's stuff for trade!

Hey Party People!

Long time, no post for me. In case you haven't seen any of my Trading Posts before, it's an opportunity for people to post what A's stuff they want to trade for, and what they have to trade.

I went to Rickey Retirement Day and got in line at the bleacher gate MM at about 3:45 with my friend and my two daughters. Just as we approached the security table where they check your bags, a woman from the turnstile area came over and put her placard in between my and my daughters and said "That's it! These girls get the last two!" and ushered them through the turnstile where they got the last two Rickey jerseys (size small) ! Anyway, my younger daughter doesn't want hers because it's too scratchy to use for a nightgown, so I gave her my old Frank Thomas SGA jersey.

Now I'm looking to trade a size Small Rickey jersey for a size Large or X-Large Rickey jersey.

I'd aldo like to trade for an XL Vida Blue SGA jersey.

Also, I'm looking for a Justin "Duke" bobblehead and a Dick Williams bobblehead.

I have the following bobbleheads to trade:

The 1st Eric Chavez GG BH

Frank Thomas

I also have an XL Huston Street SGA jersey to trade, and an XL Majestic Green Mesh pullover jersey with "Athletics" stitched across the front.

Also, Scott Janstad, I need to know if your address in Pasadena is still valid so I can send you your Mark Ellis BH.

have more than me, but I have a collection of about 20,000 various A’s baseball cards from 1980 – 2009. I have pretty much everybody. So, if there are any random players you’re looking for… let me know. Now is the time to get that Van Poppel Rated Rookie you’ve been dying for! Or a Rob Picciolo, for that matter. Ozzie Canseco, anyone? What about a Granny Goose Rickey?

By the way, I just checked the A’s promotions calendar and couldn’t find the baseball card giveaway. Are they not doing it this year? Anyone know?

I looked at my Outlook calendar, since I import the entire season into it at the beginning of the year. Then I go through the promotions and add the ones that I might like to go to.

Guess what’s on October 3rd? Oakland A’s Baseball Card Set.

Guess what’s not on the website’s schedule? Yep. You guess it. The card set.

Maybe they canceled it?
