Stockton Ports vs. SJ Giants this Saturday

The Stockton Ports are coming to town (well, moreso for some of us than others) to take on the San Jose Giants this weekend!  And, I'm selling tickets that benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Star-divide

This Saturday, July 25, is Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) day at San Jose Municipal Stadium, and the San Jose Giants have been kind enough to offer a fundraiser for the Society.  The game is at 6:00pm.  I have tickets available for $10/ea, all of which will be donated to LLS via their Team In Training program.  I will also be singing the national anthem at this game!

Please email me for tickets at mthanawala@gmail.com.  I have about 25 tickets left that I need to sell!  They are general admission tickets, but they are upgradeable to reserved seats for an additional $9 (which does not benefit LLS).

What is Team In Training?  It's a program where professional coaches train ordinary people for endurance events, such as marathons, half-marathons, century rides, triathlons (even Ironman!), and various other events, in exchange for fundraising for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  I just completed my second season with them, and ran the Seattle Rock 'N' Roll Marathon in June!  I also ran the Santa Barbara Half Marathon in November with Team In Training, and between the two seasons, my friends have helped me raise almost $6000.

So help out if you can, and come see some of our top prospects beat down some of the Giants top prospects!

I saw PF

in vancouver whilst visiting my brother last summer. I dubbed him Frankie Figs (in honor of Michael Clarke Duncan’s character from “The Whole Nine Yards”). Please keep that inane reference of a nickname going if you go see him.

Well, considering his new promotion

you can scrap Ross from Sunday’s game. I wonder who replaces him now?

Hey!

You didn’t tell me about the upgradeability thing. Sheesh.

Prithee, be not perturbed by yon third bagger.
