Anyone going to the HOF Induction ceremonies?
I'm not sure if FanPost is the right place to post this, since I've been away from AN much of the year. I'm in NYC right now on vacation until Friday when I head up to Albany as part of the SportTravelTour (or something like that) HOF package. It'd be really cool if I actually met up with any other ANers that will be there for the induction of my favorite baseball player ever. :)

I am.
"Their Triple-A rotation, led by Trevor Cahill and Brett Anderson, could be better than some big-league rotations; Michael Ynoa is the best Latin American prospect of the decade; 2008 draftees Jemile Weeks and Rashun Dixon bring much-needed tools to an advanced group of hitters." - BaseballProspectus.com
Someome should make a big AN banner so all the ANers know where to group up.

Anyone know where to get tickets for the ceremony (if needed at all)?

i will be at my parents' house in Homer...
not going to cooperstown until sunday morning. i don’t know if friday or saturday night are in the cards, but can you post any group plans in this thread?
for all the craft beer lovers (yes please!), there are 2 awesome breweries near cooperstown proper:

i especially recommend checking out ommegang. i attend a belgian beerfest there every summer and it’s pretty much the highlight of the summer. if you’re looking for something to do on saturday, definitely check one of them out.
I wish. :-(
In 2008 I was watching a team that was rebuilding. In 2009 I feel like I'm watching a team that just sucks.
I will be there ...

I will be there too!!
I’m in New York City and going to the A’s game Saturday in Yankee stadium and will probably take the early AM Sunday bus to Cooperstown. If there are any fans that want to meet up in New York, give me a call, as I have limited Internet access.
I have an extra ticket to the Saturday game and I also have a room in Cooperstown with 2 beds and I am traveling alone – so If anyone can use them, contact me as well!
