Wuertz's Slider
Harry Pavlidis, who I think is tied with the SB Nation blog Beyond the Boxscore, rates Wuertz's slider as the hardest pitch to hit in the MLB this year.
The following link explains his findings:

Fosse and Kuiper were talking about it on Friday night. The 49.7 percent swing-and-miss rate of Wuertz and his slider was mentioned by Fosse.

Nice to see.
Also of notice: Bailey’s fastball is the best fastball in the league, going by whiff rate. 40.3% whiff rate on a fastball? Yikes. They lumped four-seam, two-seam, and cut fastballs together in the same list, and Bailey’s cutter ranks 6th at 28.7%.
