# of Grand Slams in 2008?
Hey folks -- how about a diversion? Anyone know where I can find the number of grand slams hit by each team in 2008 (especially the A's)?
I looked on a number of different sites, but I can't seems to find any breakdown of home runs for a team by number of runs. I did a pretty extensive Google search, but so far I haven't had any luck. Your help is most appreciated!
Thanks, and go A's!

Dunno, but I can only recal 2
Ellis’ walkoff and one in a game @ Arizona (was it Davis?)…

According to an AN search...
…you are right, but I’d love to find a definitive source on the Web.
I guess I’m just shocked that this isn’t a stat that is tracked more. Baseball Almanac has records, but not year-by-year totals.
I think the saddest thing about the current grand slam leaders is the fact that Man-Ram (20) is on pace to overtake Lou Gehrig (23).

Wow! Thanks, Bakedawg!
Weird cuz I looked through their site, but I didn’t think to look at situational hitting — duh! Thanks to your help, I can now confirm that The A’s hit two grand slams in 2008.
Thanks also to stranahanahan, as his recollection was correct!
