Pics: Dog Day 7/17 vs. Los Angeles of Anaheim
Friday was "Dog Day" at the Coliseum, where people were encouraged to bring their dogs to the ballpark... well... the plaza bleachers.
Here are some pictures... sorry, I lack any kind of creative intro at the moment.
Some people got really into the Dog Day spirit
The victory van, about to run over Vlad Guerrero and Torii Hunter.
The dogs (and their humans) were invited to walk around the warning track before the game
A Piazza jersey? Random.

I've gotta know... which ANer did this? It rocks!
I don't envy that guy.
Cahill watching the dogs go by
Cahill warming up
Kurt Klutch
Geren arguing the home run call
Kennedy doing this weird thing where he would get to second without anyone hitting him over. Like, he'd just run over and take the base. Wonder what that's called?
Sitting behind the bullpen gave me a weird angle of Brad Ziegler warming up.
Yale alumnus Craig Breslow.
A's actually won this game, 7-3! View the full gallery here.

you cut me deep, Shrek.
A real Poppy Palace would have a lot more chocolate, and a moat with otters. -Poppy

If you’re the ANer who did the AWESOME rallyFAILmonkey dragging sled, please come forth.

She already went to Giants’ Park a few years ago, I better take her to our own park.
Thanks for the photos. Excellent idea of the rallymonkey dragged by Huskies.
Hey...glad the DogMa is feeling better.
That was a great article. I’ve known two people with lyme disease.
Nico: Okay. We have twelve hours to make a really big pickle.
Thanks, Pam!
She’s not out of the woods, but feels like she’s gaining on it. Some days and weeks are better than others.
Nasty, gawdawful bug!
