The Non-Sacredness of Territorial Rights
A minor bit of blogwhoring, but Bud Selig's recent comments on the Giants' territorial rights being "sacred" are just so much hooey, as the Angels expansion into Los Angeles shows. For the right price, a deal can be done.

Of course it could happen for the right price.
But if they don’t pretend that they’re sacred, then they really mean absolutely nothing instead of mostly meaning something.

And Walter O'Malley had much more pull in those days
If anything, the owners are on much more even ground these days.
Witty .sig goes here.

So
something the A’s once gave the Giants is now sacred. Selig is such a idiot. How a guy who let a World Series get canceled gets to make $18 million a year and keep his job for life is beyond me.
I wouldn’t let proud to be your Bud Selig be the commissoner of my fantasy league team.
