Did anyone catch Buster Olney on Sports Center describing a team to watch? He mentions the A's and their young starters. It was awesome. He mentioned that Anderson and Cahill were turned down for a rental house because the owners were concerned about two 21 year-olds and the party's. Don't know the accuracy behind that--but it was nice to see the A's young starters mentioned again, reminded me of a few years ago.

Gilbert LF-CF: 4-4, R, 3 RBI .335 BA This guy is absolutely scorching. Batting .432 over his last 10 and .500 for the month. Love his BB:K ratio 26:16 I think he'll be brought up in the next month if he can keep this up. He has nice value right now.

That was fun. I'm enjoying Weeks right now. I am super excited about tomorrow. My heart wants a 1st Rnd pick to be a powerful hitter, but I get this feeling we're going to take a pitcher.
