Nick Swisher has strange splits
Last year, i was trying to figure out why Swisher had such a bad season. I noticed he had strange home/away splits. He was his normal self at home (878 ops), and horrible on the road (596 ops). I also had noticed he had a horrid babip, so i assumed he just had bad luck with his babip on the road.
Well this season, i checked the same splits, and find that they're the exact opposite!. He is absolutely killing on the road with a 1.108 ops and a .685 in Jet Stream Stadium! Strange stuff man.

I think Swisher
Will always have weird splits because he puts so few balls in play. Same with a guy like Cust. When you’re striking out a lot, walking a lot, and crushing a lot of fly balls that may or may not leave the park your stats are gonna fluctuate, esp if you’re looking at home/road splits over less than half a season and the sample size is still pretty small.

Winning isn't everything, but it sure beats the hell out of losing.
