A's on MLB Network Classic games in 10 minutes!

Hey all, just yesterday I was griping about CSNCA not playing truly Classic A's games and here we have one, but on MLB Network

A's and Blue Jays 1989 ALCS game 2.

Seems a nice way to gear up for a potential 5 game win streak :)

Unfortunately, this is not the game where Jose Canseco roided a shot into the 5th deck at Sky Dome. Still, it will be nice to feel 14 again and dream about the next big slugger to hit a moon shot in the playoffs for the A's... Carter? Cust? Holliday?

Completely

Every phase of the game… defense, power, pitching, running (although Toronto could almost double as a track team with Fernandez, Wilson and Moseby)

How good Tony Phillps was as a second basemen… that teams defense was ridiculous, especially in the infield.

… I also watched the 2006 ALCS Game 4, which was on at 10am Eastern.

I felt like I should at least see it once (I was at Busch for Cardinals/Mets NLCS the day it actually happened) and, you know, it was actually pretty good times until the 9th.

Did you hear them talking about how they wouldn’t have ever thought they see a baseball player with an earring…Flash forward 20 years and players are playing with 6k earrings and 5 lbs chains around their necks..

Loved hearing: Game 3 – STORM DAVIS….blast from the past…miss those days, I can’t believe its been 20 years since our championship.
